About the Generation Leadership Academy

The Generation Leadership Academy (GLA) offers an intensive, two-week mentorship program designed to empower young people. Through this program, you will gain essential skills, knowledge, and experience. Consequently, GLA builds your confidence and prepares you for meaningful engagement in decision-making processes within your community.

Location: Leadership Academy Camp

About CVA

Citizen Voice & Actions (CVA) is a youth-led non-governmental organization established in 2016. We focus on empowering citizens to actively participate in building an inclusive society in Rwanda and beyond. Moreover, we envision a society where citizens engage fully in sustainable human development. Through awareness, empowerment, mentorship, and advocacy, we amplify the voices of youth and girls. As a result, we ensure meaningful participation in decision-making processes at all levels.

Eligibility Criteria

To join the Generation Leadership Academy, you must meet the following requirements:

Age: Rwandan youth aged between 18 and 26.
Passion: You should demonstrate a strong interest in leadership, youth engagement, and good governance. Notably, youth affiliated with civil society organizations or youth structures are highly encouraged to apply.
Availability: You must be available to attend the week-long Leadership Academy from March 17–21, 2025.
Education: You should hold at least an A1 or bachelor’s degree.
