Key Responsibilities as Associate Information Systems Officer

As an Associate Information Systems Officer, you’ll be involved in:

Platform Development and Support

  • Designing, enhancing, and testing ServiceNow modules, including mobile and Microsoft Office integrations.
  • Developing technical specifications for ServiceNow applications.
  • Providing operational support and performing regular system upgrades.

IT Project Management

  • Assisting in project planning, resource allocation, and risk management.
  • Preparing and maintaining project documentation, including Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

Data Analysis and Reporting

  • Collecting and analyzing data trends using visualization tools like graphs and dashboards.
  • Supporting data-driven decision-making for OIM operations.

User Training and Vendor Collaboration

  • Conducting user training on ServiceNow and related tools.
  • Building productive relationships with vendors and suppliers.

Qualifications and Competencies

Education

  • Required: Master’s degree in computer science, information systems, or related fields.
  • Preferred: PRINCE2 or PMP certifications and ITIL Foundation certification in IT Service Management (ITSM).

Experience

  • Minimum of two years in ServiceNow development and IT service delivery roles under ITIL framework.
  • Knowledge of designing ServiceNow workflows and dashboards is a plus.

Languages

  • Fluency in English is mandatory. Proficiency in other UN official languages is an advantage.

  • Professionalism: Expertise in ITSM systems and data security.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written skills for effective collaboration.
