Key Responsibilities as Associate Information Systems Officer
As an Associate Information Systems Officer, you’ll be involved in:
Platform Development and Support
- Designing, enhancing, and testing ServiceNow modules, including mobile and Microsoft Office integrations.
- Developing technical specifications for ServiceNow applications.
- Providing operational support and performing regular system upgrades.
IT Project Management
- Assisting in project planning, resource allocation, and risk management.
- Preparing and maintaining project documentation, including Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Data Analysis and Reporting
- Collecting and analyzing data trends using visualization tools like graphs and dashboards.
- Supporting data-driven decision-making for OIM operations.
User Training and Vendor Collaboration
- Conducting user training on ServiceNow and related tools.
- Building productive relationships with vendors and suppliers.
Qualifications and Competencies
Education
- Required: Master’s degree in computer science, information systems, or related fields.
- Preferred: PRINCE2 or PMP certifications and ITIL Foundation certification in IT Service Management (ITSM).
Experience
- Minimum of two years in ServiceNow development and IT service delivery roles under ITIL framework.
- Knowledge of designing ServiceNow workflows and dashboards is a plus.
Languages
- Fluency in English is mandatory. Proficiency in other UN official languages is an advantage.
