The Executive Board Secretariat Job Description

Qualifications required for the Executive Board Secretariat position
Education:
Candidates must pursue university studies in disciplines such as Social Sciences, Political Science, International Relations, or Philosophy. Additionally, they should meet one of the following criteria:
- Enroll in a graduate school program (second university degree or equivalent, or higher).
- Reach the final academic year of a first university degree program (minimum Bachelor’s level or equivalent).
- Graduate with a university degree and, if selected, begin the internship within two years of graduation.
- Enroll in a postgraduate professional traineeship program as part of a degree program, undertaking the internship to fulfill program requirements.
Language:
- Excel in written and oral communication skills in English.
- A working knowledge of another UN language provides an advantage.
Remuneration:
Interns without financial support will receive a stipend from UN Women. This stipend helps cover basic living costs during the internship.
