Position Overview
A strategic and results-driven Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) is sought to join the team. The ideal candidate will, therefore, demonstrate exceptional communication skills and a strong understanding of HR practices. This role thus requires a proactive HR expert who can navigate organizational change and foster cross-functional partnerships. Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, the HRBP will also support WADA’s strategic initiatives and contribute to departmental projects and organizational development.
The Key Responsibilities of the Human Resources Business Partner:
- First, collaborate with business leaders to implement HR strategies that drive success.
- Next, act as a trusted advisor on talent management, employee relations, and performance management.
- Additionally, promote continuous improvement by identifying and applying HR best practices.
- Moreover, ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies while providing expert guidance.
- Design and facilitate training programs to enhance employee skills and leadership capabilities.
- Furthermore, analyze HR metrics to inform strategic decision-making and workforce planning.
- Lead HR initiatives focused on employee engagement, Diversity, Equity, Inclusion (DEI), and change management.
- In partnership with stakeholders, align HR functions with organizational objectives.
- Finally, foster an inclusive workplace culture that enhances employee experience and engagement.
Qualifications and Skills Requirements for Human Resources Business Partner:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; membership with l’Ordre des conseillers en ressources humaines agréés is preferred.
- At least 8 years of experience in an HR generalist or business partner role.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws, HR best practices, and industry trends is essential.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills are necessary to build relationships and influence stakeholders.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing business needs is crucial.
- Experience with HRIS systems and data-driven decision-making is a plus.
- Additionally, strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills are required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with SharePoint are beneficial.
- Bilingual proficiency in one of WADA’s official languages (English or French) is expected, along with a strong command of the other; additional languages are an asset.
- Finally, a fit with organizational culture emphasizing teamwork, spirit, and a love for sports is important.
