About the Finance Coordinator Opportunities
The Finance Coordinator will play a crucial role in providing financial management support to the Finance Manager and the wider project team.
This position is a fixed-term opportunity lasting three years, with the potential for extension.
The Finance Coordinator’s responsibilities include:
- Implementing client compliance, managing financial accounts, processing payments, and conducting internal audits.
- Delivering financial training to the project team while supporting the Finance Manager with transaction documentation and monthly spot checks.
- Overseeing daily operations related to processing and paying suppliers, maintaining credit card registers, and handling expense claims.
- Managing the project bank account, preparing fund transfers, and executing banking transactions, including petty cash management.
- Developing and nurturing professional relationships with clients and stakeholders, supporting the onboarding and training of peers, and promoting an inclusive work environment.
The Finance Coordinator Job Requirements
We are looking for a candidate who possesses the following qualifications and skills:
- Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Business, Administration, or equivalent experience and education.
- Proven experience in managing project finances effectively.
- Strong problem-solving, management, and strategic thinking abilities, along with excellent attention to detail and data entry skills.
- Highly developed verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in English.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the capability to establish effective working relationships with diverse personnel.
