Key Responsibilities | Programme Management Officer Job in Geneva (Deadline: Dec 29, 2024)

Programme Development

  • Monitor, analyze, and evaluate programme development and implementation.
  • Review reports, identify challenges, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Conduct research and present findings from diverse sources.

Policy and Documentation

  • Support policy development and draft analytical papers, studies, and reports.
  • Assist in servicing high-level meetings and preparing background materials.

Outreach and Capacity Building

  • Organize training workshops and make presentations on key environmental topics.
  • Conduct field missions, provide guidance, and prepare mission reports.

Financial Management

  • Coordinate activities related to budgets and funding.
  • Draft and review work programme budgets, progress reports, and financial documents.

Education and Experience

  • Education:
    • Advanced degree in international relations, law, or environmental sciences.

  • Experience:
    • Five years of progressively responsible work in global environmental issues.
    • Experience with multilateral agreements and project management is advantageous.
    • Two or more years of experience in data analytics is preferred.
