Responsibilities
As a Public Administration Intern, your daily tasks will include:
Research and Analysis
- Conduct research and draft analytical documents related to public institutions, financial development, and sustainable development.
- Assist in collecting and sorting data and statistics for departmental projects.
Project Coordination
- Contribute to the coordination of capacity development projects.
- Support financial and technical cooperation efforts under the Development Account and other trust funds.
Event Support
- Assist in organizing conferences, workshops, and meetings, including preparing internal documentation.
Administrative Contributions
- Provide support in using MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and MS Teams for internal and external communications.
- Handle other assigned tasks under the guidance of the Head of Office.
Eligibility
To qualify for this internship, candidates must meet one of the following requirements:
- Education:
- Be enrolled in or have completed a graduate school program (second university degree or equivalent).
- Be enrolled in or have completed the final academic year of a first university degree (bachelor’s or equivalent).
- Languages:
- Fluency in spoken and written English is mandatory.
- Knowledge of an additional UN official language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian, or Spanish) is an asset.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in standard software applications (e.g., MS Word, MS PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with virtual collaboration tools like MS Teams.
