Key Responsibilities | Science, Technology, and Innovation Policy Internship – Santiago, Chile
As an intern with the Division of Production, Productivity, and Management at ECLAC, your role will include:
- Collaborating on studies related to science, technology, and innovation policies in Latin America and the Caribbean.
- Conducting research and analysis on productive development policies.
- Assisting with administrative tasks linked to the Conference on Science, Innovation, and ICT at ECLAC.

Qualifications and Skills
Applicants must meet one of the following criteria:
- Be enrolled in or have completed a graduate program (Master’s or Ph.D.).
- Be in the final academic year of a Bachelor’s degree program or have recently completed one.
Additional Requirements:
- Basic knowledge or interest in the economics of science, technology, and innovation.
- Data manipulation and analysis skills are desirable.
- Fluency in spoken and written English is required; knowledge of another UN official language is an advantage (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian, or Spanish).
