Warehouse Operations and Inventory Control
- Oversee warehouse operations, including inventory management, technical evaluations, and coordination with field missions.
- Ensure accurate data reporting through inventory management systems.
- Supervise the execution of disposal activities and assist in asset liquidation.
Logistics and Supply Coordination
- Support logistics officers by evaluating equipment requirements and coordinating the distribution of UN-owned supplies.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to improve warehouse operations and efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to maintain high standards across logistics operations.
Leadership and Administrative Duties
- Supervise staff within the warehouse and distribution team.
- Assist with budget formulation, technical evaluations, and financial reporting.
- Provide data analysis and visualizations to aid decision-making.
Candidate Profile
Essential Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certificate/Diploma in Logistics and Transport or relevant supply chain operations. SCOR-P certification is an advantage.
- At least 10 years of experience in logistics operations (reduced to 8 years with a university degree).
- Proficiency in ERP systems is required.
Desirable Skills
- Expertise in data analytics, business analytics, or data science.
- Strong organizational, planning, and client service skills.
- Ability to perform technical evaluations and manage complex operations.
Language Requirements
- Fluency in English is required.
- Knowledge of French and/or Italian is a plus.
