Building Confident Women Scientists
Funded by the Carnegie Corporation of New York, the AWARD Leadership Program 2025 aims to cultivate capable and influential women scientists. Participants will learn to excel in agricultural sciences, take on leadership roles, and promote gender integration.

Since its launch in 2020, the AWARD Leadership Program 2025 has attracted participants from multiple agricultural disciplines. Women from government agencies, NGOs, academia, and the private sector have benefited. So far, 75 young women from 21 African countries have participated.
